In 2010 and 2011, Robert donated the drawings below which were later auctioned off on eBay to raise awareness to help the organization working to find missing children.
On May 12, 2011, Robert lent his signature to ECPAT UK and The Body Shop and joined celebrity campaign supporter Martine McCutcheon to hand over the Stop Sex Trafficking of Children and Young People Petition to the British prime minister at 10 Downing Street. It was signed by an incredible 735,889 people alongside with the likes of Nicole Kidman and Sienna Miller.
In 2004, ECPAT UK produced groundbreaking research on the trafficking of children into the UK. An on-going programme of research, training and advocacy informs our campaigning efforts. ECPAT UK has been instrumental in raising awareness in government of the plight of children trafficked into the UK for both sexual exploitation and for exploitative labour. There are still many gaps in policy and practice that need urgent attention.
